The Endometrial thickness scan is specifically designed for individuals undergoing or preparing for fertility treatment. It utilises a transvaginal ultrasound examination focused on assessing the endometrium (the lining of the womb) along with a basic evaluation of the ovaries.

During this scan, the thickness and appearance of the endometrial lining are determined, and the ovaries are checked to ensure they are ready for the next phase. We can also detect the presence and/or position of an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) or coil.

The cost of the scan typically starts from £70.00, inclusive of all fees.
