Our Echocardiogram diagram service uses a probe to takes pictures of your heart using ultrasound to detect problems with your heart’s valves and chambers and to assess how well your heart pumps blood.
Holter Monitoring
Our Holter Monitoring service records the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time on an outpatient basis to detect abnormal heartbeat or rhythm.

Our Gastroenterology service led by Specialist Consultants offers the care and treatment of digestive disorders and related diseases and includes the following:
- Endoscopy Service which involves a visual inspection of your gastrointestinal tract using either a capsule or a video camera attached to the end of a long thin flexible tube:
- Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (also known as OGD or Gastroscopy) includes examination of the oesophagus (food pipe or gullet), stomach and duodenum (the first part of the small bowel)
- Lower Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (colonoscopy or flexible sigmoidoscopy) is an examination of the colon (large bowel)
- Capsular Endoscopy (VCE)
Which enables to visualise the entire small bowel using an easily swallowed pill-sized camera (video capsule endoscopy) supported by analysis and diagnosis by a Specialist Doctor.
- Hepatology Clinics which incorporates the study of the liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, pancreas as well as management of their disorders. Although traditionally considered a sub-specialty of gastroenterology, rapid expansion has led in some countries to doctors specializing solely on this area, who are called hepatologists.
- Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is a procedure that combines upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopyand x-rays to treat problems of the bile and pancreatic ducts by special arrangements.
Mr Nasir is on the Specialist Register as a General Surgeon and his sub-specialty practice is in Colorectal Surgery.
He was trained in the Republic of Ireland, Mr Nasir has a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Strasbourg European Institute of Telesurgery and completed his Fellowship in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery at the prestigious Institute Adelaide and Meath Hospital (Tallaght Hospital), Dublin, Ireland. Over the years, Mr Nasir has pursued a specialist interest in minimally invasive surgery. In the area of general surgery he performs routine laparoscopic cholecystectomies (keyhole surgery to remove the gall bladder), diagnostic laparoscopies and has an interest in keyhole surgery for the treatment groin and abdominal wall hernias.Mr Nasir enjoys teaching and surgical training, and is active in both local and regional training programmes, as well as having an interest in research and academic surgery.
