Dr Naseef

Dr Samir Naseef, MBBS, PMETB (CTh)

Director

Dr Naseef is the Primary Care Clinical Lead at Chequers Health Group.  He is responsible for liaising with GPs, CCGs and the ICS in Greater Manchester and beyond.

Dr Naseef graduated with an MBBS in 1996 and completed his Postgraduate Medical Education and Training in 2006. He has practised as a GP since 2006 and is contracted by NHS England to provide primary care services at a number of locations.

Irafan Omerji

Director of Operations

Irafan Omerji is Director of Commercial Strategy and Operations at Chequers Health, bringing over 20 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. He specialises in developing patient-focused services, driving market growth, and improving operational efficiency to ensure seamless access to high-quality care.

With expertise in strategic marketing, digital transformation, and business development, Irafan has launched healthcare brands, optimised patient pathways, and introduced innovative service models across both private providers and the NHS. Passionate about healthcare innovation, he takes a data-driven, results-focused approach to keep Chequers Health at the forefront of accessible and preventative healthcare.

Dr. Aasim Adia

Dr. Aasim Adia is Medical Director at Chequers Health, where he oversees all clinical services and leads on radiology and diagnostic testing. A Resident Radiologist in the North West of England, he brings wide-ranging experience across multiple specialties including vascular surgery, cardiology, paediatrics, psychiatry, general practice, and acute internal medicine.

Dr. Adia holds a First Class Honours MSc in Medical Imaging and has been nationally recognised for his academic excellence, receiving awards from the British Society of Interventional Radiology and the Charles Thakrah Turner Prize. Alongside his leadership role, he is an active educator and Junior Clinical Lecturer with the North West School of Radiology.

With his blend of clinical expertise, academic achievement, and commitment to innovation, Dr. Adia is dedicated to ensuring that Chequers Health delivers outstanding patient care and high-quality, forward-thinking diagnostic services.

Dr. Zuhayr Adia

Dr. Zuhayr Adia is a young and forward-thinking NHS doctor and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Chequers Health.

He graduated from King’s College London and trained at some of the UK’s leading hospitals, including Guy’s Hospital, St Thomas’ Hospital, and King’s College Hospital. His clinical interests span Psychiatry, Pain Management, and Healthcare Leadership, areas where he is committed to driving innovation and improving patient outcomes.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Adia plays a key leadership role at Chequers Health, where he focuses on shaping services that deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

As someone who has recently experienced the UCAT and MMI processes, Dr. Adia also understands the pressures faced by aspiring medical students. This makes him especially passionate about mentoring the next generation of doctors and sharing practical, proven strategies for success.

Dr Hamami, MB BCh, MPH, MPPH, MRCGP

Clinical Lead

Dr Ibrahim Hamami is a medical professional with a rich and extensive background in the field of medicine. Having graduated in 1989, he has accumulated nearly three decades of invaluable experience as a General Practitioner (GP). His long and successful career has been marked by a deep commitment to patient care and medical excellence.

Dr Hamami’s dedication to the medical field goes beyond clinical practice. He has actively contributed to medical education, serving as a trainer and examiner at prestigious institutions such as King’s College and Imperial College medical schools.
One of the standout aspects of Dr. Hamami’s professional journey is his role as a PLAB examiner. With first-hand experience evaluating aspiring medical practitioners, he brings a unique perspective and insight to the process. Dr. Hamami’s wealth of clinical and medical education experience is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the medical profession.

Megan Walker

Senior Corporate Services Officer

(Finance, Policy & Information Governance)

Megan started her career as a Business Administrator in I.T in 2011 and has since progressed to a career in Accounting at one of the biggest car dealers in the UK.

Her range of knowledge from the major corporations she has worked for in the past will help to determine business strategy and direction as well as contributing to the objectives of Chequers Health Group.

Kolsuma Ali

Communications & Marketing Officer

As a part of our dedicated Communications and Marketing, Kolsuma provides both patient-facing, project management and back-office support.

She is responsible for brand awareness, sales, advertising and promotion and her experience has been acquired from working in the private healthcare sector for over 5 years.

Laura Jones

Business Support Executive

As a part of our dedicated Business Support Team, Laura provides both patient-facing, project management and back-office support.

Laura’s experience as a Health Care Assistant and Supervisor of a residential home for the last decade ensures the best care for our patients and she is a very valuable asset for Chequers Health Group.

Humayoun Mirza, BSc Hons

Business Support Executive

As a part of our dedicated Business Support Team, Humayoun provides both patient-facing, project management and back-office support.

Humayoun has had many years of experience in customer service and brings a high level of expertise when it comes to dealing with patients’ needs and answering queries.

Rayhana Patel

Business Support Executive

Rayhana joins the Business Support Team with a strong background in customer service, operations, and administration. Having worked as a retail shop assistant and taken on key responsibilities such as opening and closing a busy bubble tea shop, she brings reliability and strong organisational skills. In addition, her experience as an accounts assistant at an insurance brokers has given her a solid foundation in accuracy, attention to detail, and handling sensitive information. This combination of skills will support her in delivering excellent service and efficient support to colleagues and clients at Chequers Health.

Umama Sajal

Business Support Executive

Umama joins the Business Support Team bringing a wealth of volunteering experience and a passion for supporting others. She has volunteered extensively at Bolton Hospice, youth-led initiatives, and primary schools, developing strong communication, empathy, and organisational skills. Her dedication to helping people and her ability to work collaboratively will enable her to contribute effectively to the team at Chequers Health, ensuring a supportive and efficient environment for both colleagues and clients.
