Women’s Health
Our Women’s Health service is Consultant-led and provides a comprehensive range of service from contraception to support with fertility issues including IVF investigations, planning and advice. Every couple is unique. You may find that you struggle to conceive, even if the fertility problem isn’t occurring in your own body. For that reason, we assess both partners at that same time. This can allow us to build a complete picture of your chances of naturally conceiving.
Our first visit consultation includes:
Male/female couples
- Consultation with the fertility doctor
- AMH assessment
- Ultrasound scan
- Semen analysis
- Child embryo transfer (if appropriate)
Female couples
For female couples, the doctor will advise on the appropriate test depending on your preferences or options for starting a family. These may include:
- Consultation with family fertility doctor
- AMH assessment- for one or both partners as needed
- Ultrasound scan- for one or both partners as needed
- Donor sperm requirements
- Trial embryo transfer (if appropriate)
- Treatment for fertility is provided in Europe at reputable hospitals
- Maternity services and obstetrics
Our maternity services are a comprehensive consultant led service supporting women throughout their pregnancy. It includes monitoring the health and well being of the mother and baby in an antenatal care clinic which include ultrasound where required.
The services also continue to care for mums and children following delivery until appropriately discharged.

Our gynaecology service provides a full range of diagnosis and treatment relating to the female reproductive system:
Our consultants treat a wide range of gynaecological illnesses and diseases including heavy periods, or abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain uterine fibroids, endometriosis and vaginal discharge, menopause, hormone problems, contraception, and infertility support by the following procedures:
- Cervical smears, cervical biopsy and vulval biopsies
- Contraception and conception advice
- Diagnostic laparoscopy
- Endometrial ablation
- Endometrial biopsy
- Insertion of ring pessaries/gelhorn pessaries
- Insertion of Merina coil
- IVF work up and advice
- Outpatient hysteroscopy
- Pelvic ultrasound
- Sacrospinous fixation
- Sono-hysterography
